David's Alter Ego

So I’m in the market for a new Webcam and from what I have read so far, the
Microsoft LifeCam Cinema HD and Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 look like the ones to get.

I’m using Win7 64bit so I don’t care about Mac compatibility, nor do I care about the quality of the on-board microphone since it will mostly be paired up with an off-board condenser mic.

The other option I’m considering is just using a firewire linked camcorder.  A Panasonic AG-DVC30 or a smaller HD Panasonic?

Will primarily be using the setup for Skype/Video Conferencing, screwing around with video editing and perhaps checking out Ustream.

Any suggestions or other options I should be looking at?

One other thing, I still can’t figure out how to reply to a damn comment on tumblr..  It’s quite embarrassing, but I figure it’s gotta be something simple I’m missing.  So, keep in mind I may not be able to reply to your comments, but I’m very grateful for them!  What can I say, I’m Sofa King Retarded!
